Magnets Part 2: Understand more about Characteristics of Magnet
Duration: About 1 hour
Students will investigate the relationship between the strength of attraction by a magnet and the distance using an MGA datalogger with a magnetic field sensor as well as investigate whether a magnet can attract a magnetic object when they are separated by various types of materials. The will also learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process skills and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring and Analyzing.
