Light Part 1: Light and Shadow
Duration: About 1 hour
Students will first learn to recognize light sources and how a shadow is formed. They will investigate how light travels as well as the factors affecting the size of a shadow. They will also learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process skills and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring and Analyzing.
