Heat Part 2 : Heat Conduction

Duration: About 1 hour

Students will determine whether plastic, ceramic and metal are good or poor conductors of heat using an MGA datalogger with 3 temperature sensors as well as construct some essential concepts on heat conduction. They will learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring and Analyzing.
